As a .NET Developer:

For the past two years (2001 – 2003), as the administrator of Arun Micro Systems, he provided online .NET assistance and consultant all over the world.

He runs the Arun Micro Systems Web site (www.arunmicrosystems.netfirms.com), which provides the latest info regarding .NET technology. The purpose of this site is to provide comprehensive up-to-date .NET information in a more consistent and organized way. Arun is now working in Accenture (Accenture-Microsoft Engagement, Hyderabad), a global management consulting, and technology services and outsourcing company.

Mr. Robert J.Oberg, the CEO and the founder of Object innovations, the author of many .NET books says about Arun as:

“I have worked closely with Arun in a number of capacities over the last year and a half and have found his work exemplary in every respect.   The first project involved developing a number of book proposals for Prentice Hall. I am series editor for The Integrated .NET Series from Object Innovations and Prentice Hall PTR and was fortunate enough to become in contact with a number of fine software technologists in India, Arun among them.

At that time I was very impressed with the maturity and technical authority with which Arun wrote and assumed I was dealing with an experienced industry veteran with ten or more years of experience. When I later learned that he was a relatively recent university graduate, I was amazed!

The book writing culminated in Arun becoming co-author of .NET Security and Cryptography, which was published recently as part of the series. The book is excellent and has been receiving strong reviews. Arun is also co-author of a planned book on Web application development. This book is currently under consideration for publication by Prentice Hall India.

Other projects that Arun has accomplished involve writing course materials for industrial training courses in .NET programming. He wrote the chapter on caching for our course “ASP.NET Using C#.” He has contributed significant portions of the course “Web Service Fundamentals Using C# and ASP.NET.” He developed extensive programming examples to illustrate the technologies, and he has included up-to-date material on topics such as Web Services Extensions and Web Services Security.

Arun launched the .NET Reference Guide for InformIT.com, establishing that as a strong source of information on .NET development. In all his projects Arun has been a pleasure to work with, and this has been echoed by other people with whom he has worked. I can recommend him highly for professional work in the software field.”

His History!!!

Since his college days, he has the thirst for Microsoft technologies such as VB, COM, COM + etc and presented many papers in various engineering colleges. Actually he got selected in the campus interview during his engineering studies, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the down stream in the software market during 2001. After completing his BE (ECE), enthralled by .NET technologies he delved deep into the .NET ocean and started the web site www.arunmicrosystems.netfirms.com. This site is the right place for both beginners and experts to initiate and continue their sail in the .NET ocean respectively. He published many papers on .NET technologies in different websites and got many prizes and awards for the best article, author etc, from different .NET web sites.

During September 2001, he got an opportunity to work with Deitel (Prentice Hall PTR Publishers) in reviewing their book “C# How to Program” which transformed him into a professional .NET book reviewer, .NET course module writer and author. The second phase of his onward journey was that he got acquainted  with the company ‘Object Innovations’, http://www.objectinnovations.com, which offers training course materials in fundamental software technologies. He developed .NET course modules and books for ‘Object Innovations’. Till now he has reviewed a dozens of .NET book for Prentice Hall PTR Publishers and co-authored a .NET security and Cryptography book.

What’s now?

Arun is now working in Accenture (Accenture-Microsoft Engagement, Hyderabad), a global management consulting, and technology services and outsourcing company. He aspires to familiarize with the latest Microsoft technologies like Whidbey, Longhorn and disseminate the real supremacy of .NET technology. He has also been actively taken part in various .NET related discussion forums such as MS Forums, Inform IT forums, Microsoft newsgroups etc.

He earnestly believes .NET technology is the decisive weapon to solve the enterprise software world problems. In the endeavor of disseminating the significance of .NET technology, he conducts seminars in various engineering colleges to bring awareness about .NET technologies among students, since he believes graduate students are the main pillars of the software world

Apart from computers and .NET, he enjoys spending time in meditation, and listening to music, flims and playing XBOX...
